Yes Chris. Your idea worked. Aluminum should be able to dimple up in the right spots.

Did a drive by and saw the jeep in all its glory. Took a close up look too. It needs more triangulation.

Another really productive day yesterday. Today the rig goes back to Andrew for button up on his end and there is a *chance* we'll be completely ready for Dirt Riot. The big questions marks are the steering box back from PSC, safety nets from Mastercraft, and the drive shafts back from Phoenix Rack and Axle. As far as out end... man you guys are awesome. Jennifer started referring to the jeep as "the rabbit", because every time she came out front, there was another jeep and another great friend out front working on it! Mike pulled 12 hours along with help through the day from Chris and Jimmy. Matt was a big stud and after work came by and stayed until 10:30 and completed all the wiring! Video system is installed for 4 remote cameras (Mike's pic above), plus the race lights, the switch panel, all accessories, brake lines, center console, center panel, all fuilds filled and topped off (including changing the oil in the transfer case and both diffs), and cleaning up all underhood wiring!

Had a good time hanging out with Alan and Mike. The camera system is sweet! and the custom stock dash panel looks killer.

Mike, thanks a ton! I would still be working on the wires if you hadn't stayed and done so much.

Alan, you should make sure you have an extra glass fuse or 2 with you. I'm not sure what amperage that one is and we may need to upgrade it.
The race lights, rock lights, and one other swith that Mike used a green wire for are all ignition hot. We can change any ot those to always hot quickly if needed.

for the relays/switches:
the furthest socket on the driver side is bad.
the yellow switch wire for the race lights (yellow = amber).
This powers the black wire that taps into the wiring harness at the base of the B pillar in 2 splices for the always on running lights (iirc it is the black/yellow).
From the B pillar, there is a red wire tapped into the brake light that is connected to the red brake lights up top and a yellow wire tapped into the running lights that is connected to the amber race lights.
the amber lights are only wired bright (full illumination) at all times.
the red lights are wired as running and brake, just like the tail lights.
the red switched wire is for the rock lights (red = rocks)
the black switched wire is unused and available

You have a red fused wire ran from the fusebox to the tranny cooler fan along the pass side with a green wire to use as a ground. these are not connected at either end.

Winches and fan are run seperatley and seem to work fine (fully tested by Mike) :))

Kill switch interupts the positive from the battery to the Power Distrobution Center (PDC)

When the Jeeps gets back I still need to:
Secure PDC
grommet firewall hole on driver side for relays
clean-up wires from firewall to relays with loom and zipties
clean-up wires along driver door with loom and zipties
clean-up wires along pass door with loom and zipties
clean-up wires for safety lights with loom and zipties
