What I would like it to look like.

What it looks like now...

Im kidding its not that bad. It does neew work but the eng sounds good and the trans seemed to shift as it should. Its been parked in my drive since Sat and there is no oil or trans fluid leaking. Hmmmm I should check and make sure it has oil and ATF...

The outside... It needs to be sanded down and painted. Its 4 or 5 colors of silver and has some spots that need love and a dent pulled out.
Its never going to be show car as i will be using it for hunting and Moab... MOAB!!!! Sorry that just happens when I say that word.

The inside. No carpet, no headliner. The seats are black and hot as hell... Im not going to add carpet but my put in some fake grass.
I would like to do a headliner and put the lights back in.
Seats will get replaced at somepoint with some lowback race seats.

Lift
SO in front and new springs in back. 35's on 17" rims would look good

I will try and get some pics but thats not something Im good at doing.

roll in bedliner worked decent on the old TJ, might be an option for your floor

and grass would be sweet

what size bed does that have? thinking might make an easy spot to sleep for overnight trips

I can sleep in it if I want. Not the most room in the world but enough to curl up. I could build a platform to sleep on.

I just remembered I have an MSD ignition for the jeep. Time to see how hard that is to install.

Jeeps just been sitting for a while. To many things going on.
Got the MC2100 carb rebuilt and ordered the adapter. Air cleaner should be in soon.
Pulled the old carb off and will be adding the new one this weekend. I still need to build a Throttle adapter for it.
After I get it running I will work on the rear window and adding the push bar bumper back on.
I also ordered a new hood cable and will get that installed soon.
KOH is around the corner and I want to make sure its road worthy

I don't care it's been sitting awhile. This entire thread makes me happy in the pants.

My Fool Size Jeep goes out for transmission work tomorrow. Lift kit has been ordered. Woot Woot!

I have the stock carb back from being rebuilt. I will see about getting it on sometime this weekend.

It runs and sounds great!
I need to replace some fuel line and remove some old hardlines from the clutch.
I also found out that there are no lights that work inside the jeep.
Steering is all over the place.

There is a list that keeps getting longer BUT it runs!

Was it the new carb or the rebuild of the old that worked it's magic?

Awesome news!

I got to hear it start for the first time with the carb (old) on. Pulled up just as the key was turning. Sounds great!
