Broken Arrow is a fun trail with great scenery. A stock 4x4 can make this run and there are areas for those with built rigs to test and flex their suspension, such as the Crack. Pay attention to the signs, as part of this trail is a one-way loop.
A lot of Pink Jeeps share the trail so please put your best foot forward while representing our sport. For many of the passengers on those Jeep tours, you are the first real off-roader they have ever seen. You will find that most of the pink drivers are pretty cool!
The Devil's Staircase is fun, and some members have been known to run it bottom-to-top. If you do, please post a look-out at the top to prevent someone from coming down while you are trying to go up.
It usually takes a couple of hours to make the loop, which allows ample time for pictures and a stop at Chicken Point for lunch.
If you plan to hike or walk around much, you may want to purchase a Red Rock Pass. You can preorder them here:

If your looking for a fun drive but don't have much time, try this short route. This trip offers two interesting features: the stair-stepped Seven Apache Pools and the Unusual Devil's Kitchen. Challenges are exciting without being overwhelming.
Many Steep, rocky steps; however, articulation demands are minimal. Many stock high-clearance vehicles can make it.
The trail is less than one mile long, Add a little mileage for the two side trips. Can be driven in less than an hour.
Steep descents and climbs over rocky terrain. The first part of the trail is easy when dry, but slippery and difficult when wet. Don't drive this trail on a rainy day. Route finding can be confussing at times, becuase of the numerous side roads. Suitable for stock high-clearance SUV's when dry.
More remote and less traveled than other Sedona trails
Towering red rock buttes set against a backdrop of deep-green forest and clear blue sky makes this on of Arizona's most photogenic. Memorable hiking trails leave from all directions from the road
Signs recommend no cars, but cars can make the drive in good weather. Expect a very bumpy ride, even at 5mph.
12 miles one-way, can be driven in an hour, but there's much to see.
