Moab May 4-7th: Official Farewell Trip
#121
I'm fine with fast food, just checking on the plan.
#122
It will be about 7 or 7:30 and I will be hungry so I'm down.
#123
Phoenix to Flag --- gas/food
Flag to Kayenta --- gas/food
Kayenta to Moab

That look right?
#124
Yep, but will probably just snack in kayenta in anticipation of Milt's

Um, you've known me for over 20yrs. Are you surprised at all?

When your rig breaks on the first trail the day you arrive... not much else to do but eat the rest of the time. :D
#129
Very true. And don't jinx me. It may happen again.

You hush! You just jinxed yourself lol No one will break or have any problems this entire trip. The only thing I foresee is Bob flopping his jeep, but that's acceptable.

We prefer to call it "cage testing".
#132
Totally worth it to see him get out, toss it back over, and keep leading us down the trail.

The photo opportunities in that situation would be epic.

Done. although... shouldn't the cage keep you from having to cut the roof off? lol

8 years ago I was finishing up the red jeep and trying to get it back from the police so I could go to Moab. 3 years ago we were in Moab getting wheel studs for a race jeep and packing the dodge with extra people from an XJ that went Boom... 11 years and 4 rigs, about to be 5, that have been on the trails in Moab. Im good with that...

And hopefully next year we will knock a bucket list item off with EJS... full size runs and the flattie runs. Best of both worlds
