Chris - this is NOT the Rubicon trip thread.

I will make this trip in a rental jeep if I need to.
Still need to order up the book.
Have been collecting firewood from all the down trees around me.

If you end up renting something make it a challenge and get an economy car. Just get the insurance.

Its a little over a month away. Who is still in?

Plan is still:
Leave after work on Friday (we can leave when the last person is ready) and get a room in Laughlin. $50-60 per room avg
Sat- gas up, Ice down, last min "oh crap I still need..." run and then hit the trail
Sat&Sun day and night- Trail time. Lots of Pictures and looking around
Mon- last bit of the trail and then head home.

I plan on bringing an extra 10gal of gas.
