Yep. That was just step one of my plan. It took 1 can for all 4.

Cleaned them first with brake cleaner.

I have a 24" roll of mask tape for my vinyl cutting stuff so I placed a 2x2 section over the wheel then razored out the center to keep the spray off the rubber. I added a couple sheets of paper contoured around the inside rim for overspray containment and any spatter that still hit the center of the rim I just rubbed off with a rag once dry.

The matte black is awesome. Oh man I wish we had a 2nd Matt in the club that was a darker fella to call that.

So sexy

So nice to see that. The nice thing is that the cvs are stock replacements. I don't think your breaking an axle.

Do both sides match?

I added some repaint yesterday. There were hardly any scratches at all (maybe 1 small one per wheel) until I got new tires and new balance weights, so I reblacked where the weights were removed, added, and the rim lip. I went ahead and added a redusting to the whole wheel after that just to get them to look clean and poppy again.
I'm impressed how well the Pastidip holds. Would recommend.

*I actually cut a template by laying 24" long sign masking tape over the tire, then razorbladed out the wheel part. That kept the spray off the tires. The overspray does rub off if you want, and that's the way I handled the overspray inside the wheel (I'm to cheap to paint the whole insides- I leave them aluminum). I just took a wet scrub sponge and rubbed off the inside paint specks.
