I think tie rods are today and the shafts still need some extra metal to reach for 4wd. Just trying to find the right stock for it.

Drove it home tonight. Chris had to cut some 14" coils down to about 12.5 to fit right. They are 500's now because the 450's sank too much. We'll see how this set up works and need to lift the front up an inch.

Once drivable we found an issue with the brakes. Something in the accident is causing a hiss from the MC and the pedal doesn't respond until almost fully depressed.

We drove it around for a bit. Seemed good. Turning radius is very tight. At least as good as it was prespacer but probably better and it used to turn very well then.

I pedaled down hard in some turns to see how the no sway bars fared. The 3" wider stance and coilsovers seem to handle the stability as is. I couldn't spin the back wheels but I can now in the corners. Better weight distribution? Freeway and surface streets seemed solid on steering and suspension.

She's 2wd until the better axle metal is sourced. Not a problem since we still have some adjustments to do and having a vehicle again is good stuff.

I'll bring it to my mechanic Greg to check the brakes. The ABS light is on possibly due to the abnormality. The gas gauge isn't reading (wire not hooked up properly from swap?) and engine light is on. We'll see what that's all about.

Let me know what he finds out. I've seen some gas floats break in accidents. It's a hit or miss on that. Check engine light might be from the o2 censor on right side of motor. Didn't the eshaust get hit in the wreck? I can't remember. Anyways let me know if/when I can lend a hand trouble shooting stuff. Glad you got it driving again.

Awesome to hear man! Pictures please :)

Thanks Geoff. That side near the 02 did get hit but I hadn't seen any damage to the exhaust but I'll check. I'll pass on your knowledge to him and we'll see :)

I got some cleaning to do on it anyway for sure.

Did you end up having to do any fender trimming?

None. That little plastic backsplash piece is off right now.

Fixed gas prob. Connector above tank not fully on.
Identified ABS prob. Connector missing. May hardwire.

Greg the Mech believes brake booster shot.
Taking it to him for a fix and look over tomorrow.
