Labor Day trip... to Moab
#21
I've been told I'm not allowed to take Evan on Top of the World because I'll just dangle him over the edge of the cliff. I can't argue with the truth. It would make for a great picture though.

But we can sing "the circle of life" like he's the lion king!

I will post up some info by Friday of this week about camping and that sort of stuff. We will need to call ahead but I am checking to see if we can get 2 or 3 spots in the back 40 and that way we all fit together and could save a little money.

Awesome, if I can help with anything, let me know.

If we can get T4 T5 T6 Or T5 T6 T7 We could fit 6 tents with no problem. That would put it at $17a tent per night.

The rate is $30 per site per night if you want a little space. I like this place because its clean, has a pool, and its walking distance to everything.

Awesome, is this something we need to reserve with a payment over the phone? Or is our word good enough to pay when we arrive?

Sooooooooo want, but can't. Planning an England trip.

I believe a one night deposit is required. I will give them a call and see what we need to do.

LOVE this campground, btw.

I have been slacking on the call... Now that most my stuff is fixed or replaced I will make the camping call Thurs before I go to work.
#31
let me know if you need any $ for the deposit.

Just got off the phone with the campground. $30 a night for 2 people. $5 a person per night after that.
They need the first night paid for to hold the spot.

How many sites do we need? Start with two and keep adding? Start with three?
#34
If you got the back sites, those are huge. Great area.
#35
how many of us are going so far?

You
Me
Caleb if his truck is done ( I have faith)

I would say start with two, we dont take a lot of room. What's the easiest way to pay for the first night? Get the money to you or just call them?

I think it's a good idea that we post lists of what needs to be done before we leave, my list being slightly longer than most ;)

My List:
- New Radiator
- Replace broken spaghetti lines
- Install a new ignition cylinder
- Figure out why the truck won't start (rotor? electrical issue?)
- 35" spare
- Reserve a campsite
- Buy CB antennas (co-phase them) and external speaker and install everything
- Buy more stickers, for performance reasons
- Pirate flag for cool factor

I will cross items off this list as I get them completed. With only the national registry test to be taken I can start to focus on this trip instead of school. Lets hope with my new cert I'll land a better paying job and get this list done and gas money saved in no time.
