Would any of you guys be down to do something like this? Im going to sign up and start training. I have 5 months to get ready for 11 miles of pure hell.
Im going all in on this and plan to finish it.

Just so you know the date is the same weekend as P.F. chang incase you were running that.
If you are in and ok with a fat (but will be losing weight) guy on your team... Im in 100%. Just need to know what time slot and day to sign up for.

Since my January is pretty open right now, I can clap and cheer on either day, the 14th or the 15th.

send me your e-mail address. He adds you to the team and it sends you the info to join.

Apparently we pay the reg price, then get a refund a month before the event based on how many people join.

I joined up with a running/training group. My sister is training for Ragnar again and I am going to go with her to the track training. Next is to set up a nutrition plan that works for me.

Sounds like a good plan, we just need to find a series of 12 foot walls to train on, and work up a tolerance to the last obstacle. :)

I did the 10 foot wall with little to no issue. I have been looking online to see if there is a place with walls and such that people can train at... no luck yet. As for the last obstacle...do you know a cop that can taze us as we run by? lol

You know... I'm thinking good training might be doing a couple of "smash and grabs" at local stores then trying to out run the cops through neighborhoods, jumping walls, going through swimming pools, and dodging bullets. Let me know if you want me to be your training coordinator.

How many are needed for a team? What's the benefit of joining another team vs. having our own?
