Went up north to my normal spot for a few days.... it was awesome. Plus, I got to play with my new camera.
Wild raspberry bushes were all over on our hike. Yummy.

Went out exploring today with Chris, found an oasis in the desert...
Entrance.

Inside, behind that wall is water. Full to the top of the wall, probably 20-30 yards back coming from a natural spring. Creepiest swim I've ever done.

We also found this one a little ways away.
Chris crawled in, where he is is the end of the tunnel. Water was dripping in from the ceiling.
Can't really even see the entrance until you are right up on it.

No :( Saw so many fish I could've reached out with a net and grabbed several. Tried a few different baits, and all they did was poke at it.

Caleb, Katie and I went up north Friday afternoon.. we were going to stay till Sunday but It started snowing way to hard Saturday evening, so we came home.. Made it almost to the 202 and his transmission went out. Fun weekend, crappy ending to it.
this is my "people are really stupid" look as I was winching a 2wd trailblazer out of a hole...

Left Saturday morning to hike to the "cliff house" that was supposedly built in the 30s. Well worth the hike.
