Hmmm I guess a bigger Pet Peeve would be when that tracking number in question arrives in another state and you call the Co to find out that one wasn't for you, "I don't think your order is ready yet." But apparently it is now that I got a new tracking number emailed to me now. We'll see.

The shipping world has gone haywire.

I was supposed to receive my backpacking tent today, but instead I got a small box of cards addressed to the Bland family. I don't think these will provide good shelter for me in CO.

People who feel moraly superior because they drive a Prius ! ! ! Newsflash, they strip-mine the nickel in Canada with acid causing acid rain as far south as the rain forests, then put it on a ship that burns 100g of fuel an hour and send it to europe, where its chemicaly refined some more, then back on a diesel guzzling ship for the trip to china where they force 4 year olds to refine it further in to foam, then another ship to Japan to turn that foam in to the batteries that run your "environmentaly friendly" car, that by the way, has, before its first mile, done more environmental damage than a 35 year old Land Rover that has never been shut off. Please stop saving my environment.

when Amazon says:
"hey we're sorry that UPS is full of d-bags that steal your cool hiking tent and the cool present you bought your dad, we'll just resend everything. It'll be there in 2 days"
Then when I get the package it is suprisingly small and is filled with the gift, but no tent.
So I call again and they say:
"Oh Yeah, we didn't ship you the tent because we think you smell of eldeberries. And we stopped selling that tent."
Refund?
"next week."
send me a new one from someone else?
"no, just order it yourself (and pay extra for shipping to make sure you get it before you leave, because we'll most likely sabotage this one too, just for a good laugh around the Amazon office"


...maybe I'll just build a log cabin when I get there. Might be less hassle.

Are there people in the word more despicable than windshield salesmen?
If anyone in the store complex gets a new window, they set up camp and come in every shop hard, harassing employees, customers or anything that moves. After being courteous and giving the "No thank you, I'm good" response, I've had them go out to my vehicle, look it over and then come back in all but calling me a liar.

if they harass me at a car wash i end up leavig and letting the car wash know they lost my business because of them.

I had one try hitting on my daughter... (Heather & while I was away) then came back to try & sell me a windshield... With knife in hand I told the guy, make a pass at my daughter again & I'll cut your jackobs off, he left.

Also, definitely the clips VS. magazines thing. When I bought my Henry lever action .22 from Cabelas (that I so unfortunately lost in a boating accident), the salesmen let me know he much prefers "the kind of clips that you put in the bottom part of the gun over the tube clips like this."

HAHA! Touche sir. Also learned the other day that I don't have the admin rights to change the text color for desktop shortcuts. Corporate policy ya know. Shortcuts are apparently a much larger liability than I am aware of.

Can you change the time zone/time? I like to set computers 2 hours off and then watch them struggle.
