Stupid early reminders.

At work, you start getting pop-ups at login, "Your password will expire in 15 days. Do you want to change it now?" NO!!! I'll change it in 15 days when it expires.

My car oil change system. It starts beeping and flashing when there is 15% calculated life left before needing an oil change. That's approximately another 1000 miles though. Chill out and quit pestering me every time I start the engine.

Who swerve and then stop right in front of you at Costco & Walmart. I think that every human should grow a pair of brake lights on their shoulder blades when they reach the age of being oblivious of other humans in their surrounding area.

Who leave a stop light at an idle. It's like they let off the brake pedal but do not engage the throttle until they are 'safely' out of the intersection. Meanwhile, everyone who was not stupid enough to be behind them is past the next stop light by the time there's a chance to pass.

I remembered why I don't bring stuff into work from home... We are having a baseball day at work and the team with the best decor wins... We have the D Backs... I have all my World Series stuff. I figure we are all adults and people will not (friendly word edit) with my stuff... nope... I am out one of my World Series pin... its not worth any $$... Its just worth something to me since I got it at the game.

Daylight Savings Time. People that don't understand the difference between standard time and savings time. IE, MST and MDT. No, AZ is not on California time half the year.

I posted a ham radio net on a national forum and everyone was confused with how I listed the time, so I posted this clarification.

There has been some confusion on how I posted the time as AZ doesn't observe DST. We get enough sun as is and don't need to save any.

The net starts at 3:00am Zulu time Sunday. 20:00 AZ MST (-7 GMT) Saturday evening.

And some moron replies with this. I was joking dumbass. Indiana sucks.

You realize that DST would not increase the amount of sunlight that might fall on your fair state don't you?

Because it wouldn't.

After fighting that fight for more than 30 years here in Indiana, DST was finally adopted a few years ago and no one died and the world didn't end. (The owners of drive-inn theaters are still grumbling about it though )
