No sir, my only advice on the hood is cut too little and use a flapper wheel to slowly trim the excess so it sits nice and clean. I got in a hurry on the driver side and it doesnt fit as flush as the other.

yeah, i've cut plenty of sheet metal with cut off wheels and have pretty good experience with it... oh, yeah, that's what i do for a living ;)

there is so much i need / want to do to my jeep right now, but finding the time is impossible. i still need to finish the repair on my rear crossmember and build something to carry a spare before i tear something else apart... lol.

Well, I broke the rear locker and ring gear. So I upgraded the stock locker to a yukon grizzly locker. So far I like it.

finally bought a new top that I can take off. the other one was glued together. Now just to fab up some straps for my fuel cell.

Yessir, She just keeps getting bigger. I'm going 7-8 in the rear and 3.5-4 in the front starting next year. Just gathering up parts for now. Gonna see if I like her, if not I'm ditching the 44's. Going with a shaved pig, 60, and 42's.

Finished side cage

and got my pig cleaned up

#69
Added to the cage

and put on my temp roller wheels

Picked these up for $360 shipped, brand new.

These for $400. Considering converting them to rem res for $130 more. They'll match the 2) 12" 2.0 rem res I bought for the rear.

Found the truss I want. Beefy and low. I'll be able to tie the front and rear of my 14 bolt together.

And when I get to the front, I kinda like these

Sexy! Nice pick ups.
#72
Nice stuff ya got! The cage look really good.
#73
Thanks, also grabbed a set of H2's for $225

#74
Added a harness bar, put the cage through dash, picked up 1.25" JJ's, etc

#75

Thanks bud. I do everything with a porta band and a grinder. Maybe some day I'll get a notcher, plasma, and chop saw. I just throw a vise on the ground and wing it. Been helping a buddy ge ready for KOH. He got a one month notice to get in. So I've really learned alot of tricks. Stay tuned. Hoping to have my 14 bolt shaved and back half it, stretch it, on tons and fox 2.0 rr coilovers.

Well I got an offer I couldn't refuse. My buddy wanted my jeep for his wife so he offered to pay it off, give me a 99 suburban, 18' lowboy, and this...

Good start! still needs LOTS of money though :) haha

Yes, I'm budgeting between 15-20 for it. But it'll be easier than paying a car note and trying to build.
