Currently plans are to burn in the two rear overhead bars, diagonal and parrallel rear side bars. When I get harness seats, I'll do a behind the seat bar, and maybe some hip bars. When money free's up sniper fab full corners and rockers. I'd like genrights new mini boat side rockers if they'd come off the price. Drivetrain depends on if I go 37's or 39.5's, either longfields cv's w/ 35 spline rear or 60/14 combo for the latter.

Thanks for the probs, but I just bought the tube and made some cuts, my buddy did all the hard stuff.

Some update pics of the fenders in paint.

nice, really looks good!

are you going to trim the rock sliders at all?

big change from what it used to be!
#24
oh yeah, but i'll keep them there for now to try and keep the tub straight. I'd really like to stretch it and don't wanna buy them twice. I've got a ton more triangulation to do to the cage, some harness seats, etc. They're never really done, but that should finish up the first build. Then I can beg the wife to rebuild it bigger, lol

Bought a lincoln mig welder and DeWalt portaband so I can do my own fabrication. These were my first welds ever, so be gentle.

Selling the rubi, moving on to better things. It's simply not worth paying off then doing all the mods that I want. Gonna be picking this up soon. The guy is building a full bodied rig but wants to do another run to Hot Springs before its sold. I'll be changing the wheels and tires. Prob gonna run H1 dbl beadlocks and 39.5/15 tsls.

Almost forgot the specs: 6.0, 4l80e, atlas 5:1, chevy kingpin 60, shaved 14b, 4.56's, welded rear, fozzy front, hydro assist, etc.

I'm gonna put my warn xd9000 on the front and add a m8000 to the rear. Put in 5 pnt harnesses and suspension seats.

Man, I love your current rig, but the new heep is SICK! That's killer man.

When you coming to AZ to wheel with us? Or better yet, plan the Moab Trip in May with us!!! I'd love to see that thing wheel.

Been a while since I've posted. So, here's the skinny. I decided not to buy the yj, and just sell my jeep and get out of the hobby. I engulfed myself in it and became a crappy dad and husband. My wife and I are seperated for multiple unlisted reasons. I got a high bid of 8k for the rubi. So I decided I may as well do what I want with it since I have the money and don't have to ask for permission.

So I ordered 5 AEV silver pintler beadlocks, 37x12.50 km2's, alloys f/r, 5.13's, riddler diffs, axle seals, antirock, MCAI, sniperfab comp cut corners and rockers and this

I am going to go pick up 30' ish of dom tubing to finish the cage. I have the money, and am seriously looking at doing a rci fuel cell and the clayton dbl tri rear 7" stretch. I just don't know about the coilover/airshock on a daily driver. So I'm looking at keeping the rear coiled, but stillm up in the air. Also I'm selling my front fenders to do a hiline tube and try to lower it a pinch.

Trent Fab hi lines ready for paint. Jigga Jigga

Well I finally destroyed the other side of the windshiled today. Wasn't there 5 min and I popped the brand new chromolly shaft. Put in the stocker and 5 min later popped it. Northridge is sending me a new outer, and I picked up another pair of chromos for the front off ROF yesterday. Thinkin about a new windeshield banner this time...

"Remind me to drop this one!"

She flexes nice with the new antirock, and ditched the factory inners in prep for the T-Fab hi lines.
