Couple Arrested For Shacking Up At Home Depot
Cops: Duo had sex inside display shed at South Carolina

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/duo-busted-for-home-depot-shed-sex-587314

A South Carolina couple was arrested yesterday for having sex inside a display shed at a Home Depot, police report.

Officers were dispatched to the business “in reference to an male and female entering a display shed on the property, closing the door behind themselves and remaining inside,” according to a North Charleston Police Department report.

An inspection of the outdoor sheds turned up Craig and Bowden. Craig, cops noted, was “partially clothed; the top of her dress was untied, hanging at her waist.” Bowden was shirtless and “had his pants down near his knees; his penis was exposed.”

During subsequent questioning of the duo, “it became apparent that they were engaged in sexual intercourse within the shed.”

Did you know you used to be able to trial by battle instead of defending yourself in court?

The court decided that the evidence against Thornton was not overwhelming, and that trial by battle was a permissible option under law; thus Thornton was granted trial by battle. Ashford declined the offer of battle and Thornton was freed from custody. Appeals such as Ashford's were abolished by statute in 1819, and with them the right to trial by battle. Thornton emigrated to the United States, where he died around 1860.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- A 27-year-old man from the Phoenix area was crushed and trapped by a large boulder Tuesday morning, according to a spokesman for the Coconino County Sheriff's Office.

It happened at about 7 a.m. on Mount Elden Lookout Road, approximately 3.3 miles up from the bottom of Mount Elden in Flagstaff, Ariz.

The boulder, weighing more than 30 tons, slid down the mountainside as the victim was standing on Elden Lookout Road attempting to move another large boulder that had previously fallen onto the road. Witnesses claim seeing a large red bearded man in the area picking up larger and larger rocks in succession before the incident.

Emergency personnel who responded discovered the four men the victim was traveling with removed him from underneath the boulder. The victim’s legs and pelvic area appeared to have been crushed and severely injured by the weight of the boulder.

Not only did Roy Sullivan survive seven lightening strikes, but after he was struck the seventh time he fought off a bear by hitting it with a tree branch, making it the 21st time he hit a bear with a stick.
