It tore NW traveling towards Pleasant. I headed that way first but the storm was too thick so I spitballed a southern location to watch.

hit us for a couple hours or more last night. real thunder and lightning. sat on the back patio and watched for a while. made me think of CO '11.

rained for 3 hours up here. the lightning was non-stop. Thunder crack even shook the whole house at one point. It was great.

Hmm lightning, rain, tornado's?
Arizonans should be prepared for some extreme weather over the next few days, according to the National Weather Service.
In a bulletin, NWS said that a strong Pacific weather system is expected to move into Arizona on Thursday evening, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms, some of which could be severe enough to bring one-inch hail and isolated tornadoes.
The hazardous weather warning was issued in east-central Arizona, west-central Arizona and south-central Arizona.
