FINALLY got some work done! My remote log in to my desktop at work has been messed up all week. So Saturday was my Monday!?!

heard from Michael, forest service told them their camp spot was a no go so they had to pack everything up and find another one

also they gave him a hard time about open carry in the forest

I wasn't given a hard time but yes we had to move camp after 6yrs of camping in the same beautiful spot (more on that later).

The Forest Ranger that hiked down to us with his AR-15 and partner identified himself, called me over, asked me for my sidearm. I let him know it was loaded and chambered. He took the weapon and asked if I had a CCW as he unloaded the gun and clip. I told him I did and asked if needed to see it. He said there was no need since it was open but I produced it and my license just the same. He then returned gun and ammo and told me I could reload it when they left and were out of sight.

The woods were full of people firing off their guns and not many of them sounded small (or even semi-automatic). They were just doing their job and following protocal, though I didn't know agents of the Forest Service were so heavily armed themselves.

...just got some beautiful flowers from a gay guy.
It's not that special, he brings me some every week. ;)
(They're from the flowershop 3 doors down and they advertise their flowers on my counter for free)

I have it readily available work, but no it's not on my person. That just wouldn't work with my gun and my customer interaction

I just got talked about like I wasn't in the room by two onry old Louisiana women and a hairstylist. They were making a list for me in what they needed to check off for GF material. Since I was standing right there, I interjected things of my own. Peeing in the woods and a great heinie may have been some of the things uttered. Shock value is a uselful quieting tool.
