just got the call about the transmission in my truck. Good news is it didn't need some of the parts first thought so it didn't cost me $400-$500...
Bad news... I needs a full rebuild. I broke 2nd gear. Its going to cost soooo much more now...

just got back from Flag.
Best quote of the day from a random stranger lady that approached us at our Cracker Barrel table at the end of the day: "Oh my, were you one of the ones caught in the flood yesterday? I couldn't help but notice your muddy Jeep when you came in. Looks like you just barely made it out okay."

Tried starting the Willys today, no go. Spark, fuel, and compression but the timing is off I think.

Just (earlier today) oil changed the Durango & Jeep, replaced the fan clutch in Durango, got XJ to discount tire had the tires re-balanced & aired up, my son David works there, and now hates me :)
Then washed both and even washed the M101 too... Now to start packing for our 11day camping / vacation to Utah :D

I just had some magnets printed for a customer and had extra material left over to add the Higherground thorn logo so I felt like nothing was wasted. Size is 4x18 if you want one for your bumper or whatever. Just see me at the shop.
I just got out of a three hour meeting (along with the rest of our brass) with the head honchos of another investment management company and investment bankers. We talked about mergers and acquisitions. Combined, we would be a $50M EBITDA company managing over $13B in assets under management and preparing to go public in the next 18 months.
For a redneck Jeep driver from Arkansas... I would have to say it was quite a heady meeting! Very cool! We'll see what happens, but now all the bean counters can get involved since the mgt teams of the two companies are in agreement and the money guys have blessed it. 8)

It sounds like just secondary information. Don't know why you couldn't just give them the date they are looking for. Don't know why i would matter to them other than having a blank to fill in with whatever you chose.
