I just shipped something from a dad to two of his sons over in Afghanistan.
The one has only been there a month and has already lost his 1st Sgt and 5 of his Co. Sad you don't hear about that anymore.
Said he's been lucky. His Sgt told him to take a knee and after he did he saw IUD wires 4" away from it.

Yep, he went active duty May 1. He's an officer, so the last few months has been training and prep work for his unit. They will spend the next year+ in Afghanistan.
