Guys - thank you so much! Ivan and I had a GREAT time and we really enjoyed meeting each of you (ESPECIALLY you, Nate! Meeting your boys and playing with them was one of Ivan's favorite things about the trip, and the first thing he told my wife about when we got home! LOL). Here a few of my favorite pics, but you can see them all at:

If you want originals, let me know and I'll e-mail them to you, or burn you a CD.

Oh - and for those of your who didn't get a chance to go, the "station wagons" did just fine and held their own, in my opinion... didn't even have to pull nate out. Of course, with Chris trying soooooooo hard to keep his Jeep pretty for the pictures and stay out of the mud, you have to wonder if it is a true test... LOL

Again, thanks a million. Michael: I gave Mitch the fish and he loved it. He was really impressed. He's going to be going to church with us in two weeks when we get back in town... thanks again. - a

OK - Here's my fav's

That's a T-Shirt waiting to happen, isn't it! (or at the very least, has the makings of a good Avatar! LOL)

Well, I definitely had a great time with all that were there.
The new cherokee bunch looked and performed top notch, no question.
I'm jealous of Steve's sunset pic he got before I got there when it was already dark.
Camping was great. The site was excellent, plenty of view, firewood, etc.
We got to see a few elk driving around with the spots on at night, and definitely heard some during the night.
We'll have to go back and run the second trail. We thought about doing it on Sunday, but then we just spent the day doing whatever we wanted: going out to the overlook, playing the mud, etc.
We even hit Cracker Barrel on the way back since technically it was in the fungenda.

I actually hope it doesn't rain today, so my mud stays on.
How funny would it be if I put a tarp over it so when it rained everyone would think it was so my vehicle wouldn't get dirty and then after the showers, I went out and removed it only for people to see how crazy dirty it is.

Too funny! I was thinking the same thing and I'm not 1/3 as covered as yours is!!! I actually parked under the covered parking at work today for that reason. LOL

There is nothing wrong with wearing your badge of honor for a couple of days...

now Mitch and I were discussing (yesterday) how long was "appropriate" and how long was "just too long"... we settled on one week.

Any input on actual Mud Caked Protocol, here?

I'm waiting until this weekend then I'm going to find one of those "high school" car wash thing. How cool would it be if we all went to the same one. Those poor kids. LOL
#14
You are a bad, bad man! I love it. We're out of town this weekend, but the high school fund raiser car wash idea is PERFECT!
#15
Yeah a solid week will do.
We're supposed to have a "cleaning party" with Steve and a pressure washer this Sunday.
I can't believe Dana let Jonathan borrow her Jeep today with it as muddy as it is! Nice girl right?
#16
Dana's Jeep got lost in the woods too

The back of the bus boys riding into camp (I pretty much have a shot of everyone in the mud here)

What's the deal with that clean vehicle in the back?
