Even though I couldn't stand country music at the time, I really wanted to be a DJ, so from age 16 - 18 I worked from 5 - 10 every evening as the evening DJ on KAWW AM & FM in Heber Springs, AR. It was such a small radio station, we actually turned off the power to the tower at 10 PM each night to save money...
