lol... I'm thinking the other way around....

It'd be SOOO much work to transfer everything over to his chassis. And the floor on his is literately tearing apart.

Picked this up from Matt.. Going to pull the motor, and rebuild it this winter then swap. Chassis will be for sale or going to scrap in a few weeks

Stroker? Or just healthy rebuild? I did the latter on mine and sometimes wish I had done more, but it's healthy and reliable.

We will see... I'm leaning towards it simply because it's not that much more money on top of what I already want to do.

I also need to have money set aside to rebuild the trans and have the transfercase checked out before our trip.
#86
Tell me you're not paying anyone to touch this transfer case after what happened to the last one. :p

Lol... Peres transmissions in Phoenix is who I normally use and they do awesome work. So I'll take both to him when the time comes.

Oh, also some kid wants to trade a borla header for the chassis after I get my stuff out of it. retails for $892 on summit.

It's brand new still in the box. I think I might do it.

Where did you buy the rebuild kit for yours? and what all did it contain?
#91
It was a long time ago (11yrs I think). I sent the motor out to be built at Kelly's machine shop. They bored it .30 over and put in an RV cam. Nothing else real exciting. No flat top pistons or anything.

Well, my Colorado trip last weekend went down the drain but on the upside I got a lot of stuff done..

Motor is pulled, and I traded the Chassis for a brand new Borla header.

It's getting a rebuild... come December, I'll sit down and figure out if I can afford to stroke it or not. I want this motor done and complete ready to go in before I pull the other one out.
