Michael told me that he sometimes spends time using Photoshop or some other program to doctor the images he post here. I guess he thinks it will make it harder for me to identify the firearm. Well, it does make it a bit harder. Unless, the firearm is as unique as this one. It's an AR, right? Sure, but this bad boy is a bit unique.
Unique grip. Unique stock. Unique light. Unique flash hider. Unique free float forend. BIG money was spent building this rifle. Here we go:
* The pistol grip is similar to a Magpul but it has a more vertical stance, designed to force the elbows to tuck inward, instead of outward. This helps to reduce the chance of you sticking your elbow out from cover, reducing YOU as a target size, and keep your elbow from getting shot off. The highrise grip is designed to increase comfort and reduce the chance that the grip may pinch the shooter. The grip is made by Bravo Company Manufacturing (BCM), called the
Gunfighter's Grip.
* The stock is a SOPMOD design. SOPMOD stands for
Special
Operations
Peculiar
MODification, which is the standard lingo for "made especially for battle rifles in the M4A1, FN-SCAR and is used by USSOCOM (United States Special Operations Command). The bad asses of the Military. This stock is made by
B5 systems and is the Bravo model. B5 makes two styles, Bravo and Enhanced.
* The weapon light is made by InForce. It's a unique light that boasts a 125 Lumen output and is factory focused for close to midlength combat use. What really makes this light unique is that it's been upgraded to 200 Lumen output and married with an Offset mount and is manufactured specifically for a company called
Haley Strategic Partners LLC. This light is known as the InForce WML-HSP.
* The flash hider is also a compensator. It's made by Bravo Company (BCM) and is called the BCMGunfighter compensator. What makes it uniques is that it is designed to reduce flash, muzzle flip, and deflect blast pressure and noise away from the shooter. Lastly, it may also be used as a quick mount for A2 type locking collar suppressors.
* The free float forend is made by
Geissele Automatics. This is their MKI Super Modular Rail. What's unique is that they took their 10" model and used the same pattern as their 13" model. Why?? This leads me to believe this is a custom build.
Now, I have to excercise the ancient art of "Google-Fu" and figure this out. Ching! The combination of parts from BCM, and Haley Strategic was the kicker. This is a specialty build by BCM called
The Haley Strategic Jack Carbine. It's part of
BCM's Gunfighter Select Carbines.
Good one, Michael. I really had to work on this one!
