LOL. You made me look at the photo file names. That's funny, Mike.

Arg! You suns of guns! That took awhile. I knew two thing. 1. It was a HK. 2. It was for underwater use. I just couldn't find any data on it... til now.

The firearm is a HK MK1 Mod 0, Underwater Defense Gun. It was created for the Navy SEALs and fired tungsten darts. Sad news is that it was replaced. This pistol only had an effective range of 30 to 60 feet. In reality, that's pretty good. Note: A centerfire handgun CAN fire underwater but the friction of the water will cause the bullet to slow and tumble, giving it an effective range of only 4-6 feet.

Still, they felt that the gun needed improvement. The lack of performance called for a redesign.

The new version is called the HK P11.

Characteristics

Type: Single Action multi-barrel
Caliber(s): 7.62mm underwater
Weight unloaded: about 1200 g
Length: 200 mm
Barrel length: n/a
Magazine capacity: 5 rounds in disposable barrel cluster

The HK P11 is one of the least known weapons to emerge from the Heckler & Koch factory. Developed during the early 1970s to arm frogmen (combat divers), this weapon is apparently in use with the Navies of Germany, Italy, France, Norway, the UK and the USA. This highly unusual weapon is probably the only serious rival to the Soviet underwater pistol, which appeared in late 1960s. The P11 and its ammunition is somewhat bulkier than its Soviet counterparts (the SPP-1M), but, on the other hand, the P11 has one round more capacity and a larger caliber, probably resulting in better lethality.
The HK P11 pistol is mainly unusual in the fact that it is not self-loading. Instead, it uses a quick-detachable cluster of five barrels, each factory-loaded with a powder charge and long, needle-like, drag-stabilized projectile. The pistol is reloaded by the replacement of an entire barrel cluster. In combat, the empty clusters are discarded, in training these are collected and later sent back to factory for reloading. Loaded barrels are protected from salt water by thin diaphragms, which are destroyed by the fired bullet at the instant of firing. Powder charges in each barrel are ignited using electricity, provided by two 9-Volt batteries, stored in a sealed container in the grip of the pistol. The effective range underwater depends on the depth, and is about 15 metres near to the surface. Above the water, the effective range is quoted as being around 30 metres, and while long and relatively heavy bullets can be lethal at longer ranges, the chances of hitting any target beyond the given range is minimal. This is because the barrels are not rifled, and bullets are not stabilized in the air, thus tumbling and yawing in flight through the air.

Easy one. It's a Whitney Wolverine. It' was a very "space-aged" looking, lightweight 22LR pistol that was created back in 1956.

Olympic Arms makes a current version of this, but with a new twist... Polymer and a ventilated rib.

Another easy one. HK MP7A1. What is unique to this picture is: HK Makes their own dot scope. Yet, they have an OKO industries dot scope installed. OKO makes an extremely lightweight reflex scope. Most of it's construction is a high density polymer.

=====

Smaller than a conventional submachine gun, the 4.6mm MP7A1 is a compact and lightweight Personal Defense Weapon that can be carried like a handgun yet is capable of rifle-like effectiveness.

The HK-developed 4.6 x 30mm ammunition provides the penetration approaching that of an assault rifle round and is able to defeat the types of body armor frequently found in the hands of terrorists and criminal gangs, in particular that of the former Soviet Bloc special forces, now the standard NATO test target (CRISAT).

In response to the NATO PDW requirement document D29, HK developed a Personal Defense Weapon system that will penetrate the CRISAT vest, comprised of 1.6mm titanium plates and 20 layers of Kevlar, out to 200 meters and beyond.

Adopted and fielded by several of the world’s leading special operations units, the gas-operated MP7A1 fires from the closed bolt position, using a rotary locking bolt system similar to that of the HK G36 assault rifle to contain the powerful 4.6mm cartridge.

The MP7A1 handles like a pistol yet allows targets to be engaged like a rifle. With its 7-inch barrel, the HK MP7A1 is capable of firing 10-shot semiautomatic groups at 45 meters of less than 2 inches. Unlike competing designs, the conventional handgun-like appearance and fully ambidextrous design of the MP7A1 ensures immediate acceptance by all users.

The MP7A1 is manufactured predominantly of carbon fiber reinforced polymer with embedded metal components where needed. The weapon can be field stripped in seconds without tools and requires little cleaning due to its unique gas system.

The lethal 4.6 x 30mm cartridge produces minimal felt recoil (50% of a 9mm NATO round) to assure that multiple hits are easily obtainable in all modes of fire—incapacitating the target through penetration and permanent tissue destruction.

The MP7A1 is fitted with a removable full length MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rail on the top of the receiver for mounting a variety of optional targeting devices. Optional forearm rails are also available. Standard folding mechanical peep sights can be fitted to the top rail or an optional 24-hour reflex sight can be attached in seconds without tools. The reflex sight provides a single red aiming dot for 24-hour use when the weapon is fired from the shoulder or at arms length like a handgun.

Special carrying devices are available for overt and discreet carry of the MP7A1. Due to its lightweight, small size and minimal width the MP7A1 is especially suitable for VIP protection details, pilots, drivers, guards, and support personnel who require hands-free carry of their defensive weapon while performing other tasks.

=====

This is the GEN2 version and has some good ergonomic designs. Textured grip, larger selector, rails on top, and sides, and a slightly longer barrel for flash hiders or suppressors.

Here is the GEN1 version.

It's a Taurus CT9 9mm Carbine. Ok, it may be the CT40 in 40SW. Hard to tell since there is no markings on this picture. The official name is CTG29 for the 9mm or CTG240 for the 40cal.

TAURUS RIFLES & CARBINES: THE NEW CT9 & TC40

The CT9 (9mm) and CT40 (.40 cal.) is a new close quarter carbine platform for Taurus, with a blowback-operated system that fires from the closed-bolt position. The CT Carbine's upper receiver is constructed of aluminum with an integral full-length Picatinny rail with sights attached. The rugged rear flip up sight is elevation- and windage-adjustable and the square-post front sight has a protective hood. The convertible charging handle can be switched for right- or left-handed shooters. The CT Carbine incorporates a versatile polymer handguard that can accommodate 3 additional Picatinny rails in the 3-6-and 9 O'clock positions for the addition of accessories.

The lower receiver is comprised of polymer with steel reinforcing inserts. The CT Carbine has a skeletonized fixed stock, pistol grip and a very distinctive magwell that doubles as a forward grip, providing additional control. The ambidextrous fire/safe selector switch is located just above the grip for quick and easy operation. The magazine release is located near the magwell housing, protecting the magazine from inadvertent releases.

Here's my take. If you're going to make a carbine, why make it with a 10 round magazine. Why not make it to take the same magazine as your 9mm or 40SW handgun that is 13-17+ capacity? Beretta did this with their PX Storm rifles.. smart. The Taurus magazine CAN physically old more rounds. They purposefully limited the magazine to 10. JACKASSES! Now, we have to cut the spring and grind out the dimple in the magazine to make it a hicap magazine. MORONS!

Oh well, it will be a few years before we know if this rifle will survive. If so, aftermarket companies will make bigger magazines...

So we basically have a IMI Tavor, but it is fully ambidextrous, has forward ejection (like the FN-F2000 and Kel-Tec RFB)can change calibers on the fly, and breaks down with 3 pins. Genius! The bullpup that will KILL all other bullpup designs!

That is the Polish made MSBS Radon bullpup. Per Wikipedia, it's still in development. I don't have much info on this, other than what Wikipedia is offering. Sorry.
