Set a new PR on Tuesday for Front Squat 305lbs
Wed I set a new PR for Back Squat 380lbs
Give me another week or two and I should be in the 400lbs range for back squats.

Spent the weekend at a training event 9am-3pm on Sat and Sun
Got some great info out of it and will try working it into the workout tonight.
Was able to do a 615lb yoke walk with no belt. Not bad for no belt. Belted I have done just over 700lbs.

Good question.
Once you get into some heavy weights you belt up so you can keep your core tight. You see it alot in the squats.
For strongman we use a wide belt the same all the way around since we need to protect more than just our back. When you have the belt on you can push out your gut to help tighten it up and hold up more weight.

Was able to hit a 435lb squat today! That is a 50lb PR for me.
