What are you doing for resistance training? Weights? Program like Body Attack?

I was debating between crossfit and p90x. I couldnt decide which would be better for me, I liked the more rounded approach of crossfit but I knew Id never make it to a gym to do the program. I settled on p90x instead

Ill be following the program and diet exactly once it arrives. Ill post up results and impressions as I go along

I will be going to aq cross fit gym as soon as the jeep is sold. Its not cheap but it will be worth it. I need that push from a trainer.

30 days into the p90x program

first week was tough. if you arent in any decent shape itd be near impossible. I struggled to get through the hour excercises each day for almost the entire first 2 weeks

Ill be doing the doubles calendar for the next 30 days, hour of cardio x in the morning than the workouts in the afternoon

Havent lost any weight but Megan says she can see more definition in my arms and legs so far

and contrary to what alan says, yoga x is not gay lol

The nice thing about P90X is that you can progress in your own pace. Not many people can do what they do right off the bat. I have the P90X but don't use it much. I'm also getting the Insanity Workout from a friend to try out.

yep insanity is on the list, after the 90 days is done. My neighbor hooked me up with both p90x and the insanity workout dvd's. I also got power90 for Megan

Been hitting the weights hard. I need to work on upper body. Its been good. I can already see a difference.

Started working out in a crossfit gym. PAIN!!!

It been two days and I cant walk at this point. Its been good to have someone push me harder that I would push myself.

2 months to go.

Goal: Down another 30lbs, running 5 miles a day, and to be able to do a pull up.

My last session with a trainer was a leg / squat work out & was walking funny for 3days!
Being out of town this week is not helping my cause :(
Trying to stick to diet as much as I can but hard when your forced to eat out.

Pulled an Ab Muscle at cross fit ...I was doing a jump... When it pulled the pain put me into the floor. I am now on "The Bob" workout. Lots of rowing and air squats.

Did 500m 400m 300m 200m 100m with 15 squats between each set.

3 mile hike/run with pack 50 body squats: 10 at start 10 on each peak and 10 at the end

The point is no matter what program not to get burned out and discusted i was in the martial arts for 24 years and no matter what you do its better than doing nothing.....

Hope to hit the gym again this week, haven't been there since the Friday before Thanks Giving :(
Regardless I'm still in & will give it all I got :)
