I need to name my new Jeep. This got me thinking about my history of vehicles. In Chronological order, excluding motorcycles and my wife's cars through the years, here is my list and their names.
I am curious as to what you've named your cars over the years:
85 Chevy S-10 “Thumper” – sold by my dad due to speeding ticket, named for the sound system and I was 16... you figure it out.
81 Chevy Citation “The Stripe” – lost due to wreck - had 2, 6" glow in the dark stipes down the side
88 Chevy Cavalier “Betsy” – finally died. She was my favorite (bought for me by Grandpa Ivan)
69 Volkswagen Karman Ghia “The Project” – blew up on I40
88 Volkswagen Fox Station Wagon “G.G.” aka Grocery Gitter) – traded for my first computer
87 Honda Accord “Sunny” – had a sun roof
91 Mazda MX6 “Grape Ape” – purple car, lots of tickets
90 Honda Civic Hatchback “My Wife’s Old Car” – family growing, time for me to get hand me downs
95 Chevy S-10 “Techno” – missed having a pick up
97 Dodge Neon “Dad’s old car” – bought from Jen’s father
98 Nissan Maxima “Slick” – wore out the Neon and needed something nice
91 Jeep Wrangler “Little Red” – not traveling so much so gas mileage doesn’t matter
93 Jeep Cherokee “Billy Ray” – family growing so a more family friendly wheeler
01 Jaguar XJR “silver bullet” – always wanted one… so what if it’s 10 years old
01 Jaguar XJR “the other one” – um… wrecked the silver one, got a black one
97 Jeep Wrangler - needs a name! Help!!!
