heres a few form tonight as it sits. its taken longer than wanted for sure but it is not me holding it up, ask tim. its been a long rd getting the right parts and things to work out. from modifying the atlas setup to accept a seal at the tranny to straightening a the rear axle assembly that was brand new, to getting the right front shafts. But as you can see it is looking very nice. i wish it was mine. its the perfect camping/exploring rig now. the rear bumper will get partially built now and then tim will come back and im gonna finish it and then build the new front bumper and maybe a few other little odds and ends.

It looks great guys. Nice work.

Looks great

Just a question though

is that gonna fit out of the garage? :)g)
#28
^^^^Yeah...about that. :red| We'll either have to take the rack off and/or air down to single digit PSI. A third option is to sawzall the garage. Whatcha think, Chris? :)=)
#29
:lol It is a bit tall! It's looking awesome though, I love it
#30
id say probly air down a bit and then ratchet strap the axles to suck the suspension down. it is tall but at the same time in person its almost perfect height.

hmmm...kinda like the owner!:)=)

Let me know if it still doesn't fit and I'll trade you some susp parts to help it and you out.

Why how thoughtful. Thank you kind sir.
#34
BTW...we rolled it out of the garage today - without any ratcheting or much deflation. :O
#35
Nice man.
How far back did you push the rear axle?
#36
very cool!
#37
nice, looks good out of the garage

gonna add sliders or any other armor?
#38
you cant see it in the pic but it does have sliders. im building a nice rear bumper for it and then a new front one also. plus some skidplating too to protect that purdy atlas.

Yes. Definatley a skid for the Atlas..aside from the cost of that purdy hunk of steel, it was a major headache to install & then get it to talk to the Nissan computer. I wouldn't do it again, but I say that without having used it yet. :eyeroll:

I can't wait to see the rear bumper design. If it comes out half as cool as the mounting brackets look...it'll be SIIIIIICK.
