My theory is guns are good in an emergency but the key is a good melee weapon like a katana or even a baseball bat something with range. I would also want to get far away from the general public as possible but it can't be as simple as just heading north and for the mountains, gotta find a spot that no one else would go. To me heading north is a good option because the cold would slow the zombies greatly but the down side is that it's like keeping meat in the freezer it would prolong there decay. Somewhere hot like az would benefit just for the fact that they would decay much faster.

Something with range? That'll be a gun. :cool:

A sword is for when you run out of ammo. Good thing I also have 5 guns chambered in 22LR. And 15K rounds of ammo. :D

You could just strap a lawn mower to your chest and walk around the house

So, I"m curious if any of you have a legit, taken seriously SHTF plan? Do you have a bug out location? a bug out bag? Do you have a bag with you during the day while your away from home with enough stuff to get you back home in the event of a natural disaster, or terrorist attack? Do you and your loved ones have a meet up place in the event you get separated for whatever reason? I know everyone jokes about this stuff but every day passing, I take it more and more seriously. So what do you guys have? What's your plan?
