I took a picture of the RE & RK spring to compare... and my SD card took a crap so I dont have said pic's now :(

#43
Yeah! Can't wait to see it, man. Bet she's lookin' good.

Sorry I couldn't return text last night. I was elbow deep in mud until midnight working on my stupid plumbing in the front yard. Turns out it wasn't the sprinkler line, but the main line into the house! Crappy night.

Looks like I might have the old lift sold, but had to include the leaf springs to sell it, so Ill have to order the RE6.5" leafs tmro.
And Ive also ordered a new clutch from AO and will pick it up tmro.

Very nice. I wrecked my Cherokee and my wife thought it was a family stimulus package when we got the insurance check. I am still working out the details but hope to improve my Jeep after an unfortunate incident like you seem to be doing. I am jealous of your lift it looks really nice.

Well sold the RE lift... BUT had to also part with my leaf springs & shackles... :(

SO now my axle $$ is now going to new leafs...
#47

Need to hit the junk yard on Sat for some shifter parts.
GOAL is some road time on Sunday, will be pushing for Sat night, but if I can drive it on Sun, Ill be happy
#54
That is so cool!
#55
Man, I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to see it done and wheelin' again. May is pretty heavy, but what does June or July look like for an inagural HG Scooby Run?

I'm also digging the "how do I want to paint it" canvas going on. I would suggest cool mid-80's "paint drips" that inspire a Miami Vice feeling of warmth and comfort. My 2 cents. : )
#56
Yeah May is... WOW full.
you guys will be in Moab & I have a daughter who will graduate high school too plus all the family & party that will be associated with that.

Hope to get a nice easy shake down run in on the EDGE event then maybe one weekend we can hit some thing easy.
#57
Well due to the added time running to different junk yards I didnt get it on the road as expected...
List of todays progress:
Tranny & junk yard shifter (turns out its NOT for an XJ ) but I made it work
Transfer case was drilled & tapped for the new vent tube, THEN put back together; took apart; put back together & finaly installed.
Rear driveline
Oil Pres sensor
Water temp sensor
throw out bearing & bleeding.
All the oils were added too.

Also got it to start too so far so good.
Tmro well get the TC linkage & front drive line in & go from there.
