I don't get art. I don't know what makes a good piece of art... good. I couldn't tell you the difference between a professional's painting vs a painting a kid did.

I once had an old guy tell me "Buy what you like. Hell, thats what I did and now I have a huge collection and people seem to think I know what I am doing" Some of his art was on loan to a few places.

Yah, its all subjective.

I actually like going to art museums and looking at the paintings and sculptures. Even the stuff in downtown flag is fun, like browsing the shops. Got to see tons of great pieces in Italy ;)

Alas, people after my own heart; i'm afraid to swim in pools at night for fear of sharks!

Art, after all, is in the eye of the beholder, that's why art is so varied. That's why I like it - its so much an expression of an individual. There's a statue at the Fountain Hills Park now that literally stops me every time I walk past it. And then I walk slowly past it to see it from various angles. I don't know why I'm attracted to it. d

I wonder if life has been to easy and that is why I have no compassion... I had no reason to move on, out, up... I am complacent at where I am. Yeah I work to make more money and better myself but have no hunger to make an impact.
