So, Yesterday as I was headed up to Prescott my dad called and told me my sister was broke down on the side of the freeway, started running real crappy and then shortly after started blowing smoke. These were her exact words. So, my dad goes and discovers the radiator blew up, and I do mean BLEW UP. So, he has it towed to the house and pulls the radiator out so I could order parts and finish it up today. After I get home this afternoon I put the new stuff in, filled it with coolant and it won't start.. thinking it was a weak battery I swapped in another battery and still, no start. Worrying a little, I went and grabbed a breaker bar to make sure the engine wasn't froze, and sure enough.... it won't budge. I"m assuming what ACTUALLY happened, was it was over heating and got hot enough to run like crap, at which point the coolant was hot enough to blow the side clear out of the radiator and that's when she noticed because of the steam. She said she looked at the gauge when she saw the steam and it was reading fine, but I'm betting because of the radiator blowing the gauge wasn't reading quite right anyways.
Short version of this, today sucked, I hate seeing my dad depressed, and I get to do another motor swap... horray.
