Just cleaned up from hiking in Sedona. Silverside's truck broke down on the way out there, and the dutch cop wouldn't let us tow strap him. So we left the truck on the side of I-17 and put 8 people in the Xterra and continued on. The FR off Schnebly was rough to say the least.

Do you guys need help getting The truck back? Let me know and we can trailer it if needed...

Thanks Alan! We used a friend's AAA after our hike to get it towed to our mechanic. Hopefully it's a simple, not-so-costly fix!!

Found out that my wife's phone needs to be replaced and I am getting a new phone too. Mine has been locking up and when texting it is doing some weird stuff. Linda's is just plain freaking out. A factory reset on both Android's did not fix the problem. Fortunately mine is under warrantee but her's is not :(
#4929
What kind of Android do you have?? I have the incredible 2, had to warranty it couple days ago due to a blown out speaker...

Before you trash it, try to root it. It may fix the issue. What model phone is it? Who's the carrier?

Washed all the mud off the X yesterday, and put on the lighted greenery on the rack today. Thinking about painting some things on it tomorrow.

I am jealous...

We went to the ASU game last night. First college football game for the kiddos. Good time!

Christmas decorations are up and running. Looking good.

Jeep is progressing nicely. It may be on the trailer, but it'll be at the Christmas party. :)

Mike - I read a really good Pirate thread on Ashman's new buggy. He was using brush on hammered finish paint. It was good tech and also a really good look.

I remember talking with one our guys about that. Maybe with LOR Chris?
Probably just doing grill, plastic trim stuff with Duplicolor Black. Eventually I may cave and black out the hood rise.

This is a pretty sweet buggy thread and many of you know Ashman anyway... burried about post 128 are sweet finished pics where you can see the hammered metal paint on the tube, bumper, etc... I really dig it and think the brush on worked better than the spray. I suspect we may see some of this on my TJ by the time it's all said and done...
