AND... Im grounded
#21
Yeah... REALLY sucks... in fact its quite depressing...

Saw Alans XJ @ CCV & parked next to it had to hold back the tears.

After I get the axle back it should only take a few hours to get it swapped out then Ill have the task of welding on the new shack mounts & installing new shocks.
#22
dont you still have to gear the front axle ???????
#23
YES I do...

So once the rear is done Ill disconect the front so it can be driven.
And do hope to get the front re-geared ASAP so I can hit the trails again.

Didn't seem to stop you from putting pink CCV stickers on my rig! I peeled them off and stuck them on yours, then your kids nailed me with the entire rainbow of CCV stickers! It was pretty funny and they had a good time.

Honestly... that was all the kids... had nothing to do with it (you would of know it was me ;)

But hey if your & my kids had fun then its all good :)g)
#26
LOL then it's all good. The kids did seem to enjoy it and you've got really great kids, brother man.
#27
Thanks man :)g)

OK another update...

Had to grind down 1 tooth to get the pin into the carrier, (its a C-clip thing)

All together & ready to install :)=)

Now do you honestly think I'M going to install this??? :red|

CHILD Labor!!!!!

Today we swaped out the E-Brake cables, blead the rear brakes, then figured might as well do the front too :cool)
I need to get some new U-Bolts and disconect the front DS.
Also plan to meet up with a fellow welder and do the shock mounts and hope to have it to Joe by Thurs afternoon :)=)

ooooooo that's looking good! Can't wait until she rides again, my brother.

NOW this makes me happy in the paints :)g)

Bought new U-Bolts from AO yesterday... also saw a Jeep labled "Fat Bob" :)g)

My boys busted their @$$ swapped out the u-bolts, then busted 1 of the bolts for the u-joint strap :( tried the easy out and it broke my easy out. So that yoke was trashed...
BUT we had a spare so swapped it out in 2min and got the drive line in, filled up the oil and took it for a spin.
The speed-O is lol... WAY off but it drove nice and even took it on the I-17 for a bit and was able to hit 65 MPH.
