Hey all, I don't have anything specific in mind, but have any of you heard of how we can help the CA fire victims, and if so, is there something we would like to do as a club to assist them in their time of need? Clothing drive? Partner up with a relief organization? etc?

Any ideas or discussion, or direction of what IS being done would be great.

I would rather do something here like some sort of run for fallen officers

Just a couple of things going on: friend of ours from church who has moved to San Diego this past summer has given me contact information and I'll be coordinating other events with him and his church.

This week, I've organized a clothing drive here at work to gather clothes, blankets, etc, that will conclude on Friday and I'll get it to him next week so their church can help those who are homeless or have lost everything in the last few weeks. If anyone here would like to donate, or participate at their work place, let me know. I'll be coordinating getting the clothes to him next week.

Also, on the "up and coming" front, as they have a more detailed calendar, they will be doing some clean up and rebuilding in their community over several weekends. Once I get those dates, I'm going to coordinate a group of us from Phoenix that head down there on a Friday night, help them clean up and rebuild on Saturday and Sunday, then return on Sunday night. I'll keep the group posted, in case anyone is available to go too...

Will do. Work was able to collect 23 bags of clothes and toys last week. We are arranging how to get them all to San Diego this week and I'll follow up with Mark on the contruction/clean up plans.
