God Is So Great
#1
As most of you know Jen and I had a Dr. appointment on Thursday to have our soon to be daughter turned in the correct positon. She was what they call Frank Breech, meaning her feet were directly in front of her face and she was coming out butt first. We had 2 options, set up a c-section or do what is called an aversion. An aversion is where they numb Jen from the chest down and from the outside, turn the baby into the correct positon. Our Dr. (one of the best in the state) has a 90% sucess rate of doing this.

After a few min. into the procedure he was having a lot of trouble so he decided to order the mother of all ultrasounds. In this ultrasound he found that there was only 2.5 meters of fluit around the baby, there should be at least 8 meters. He made the decision to have a c-sections while Jen was still numb. Had we not decided to have the aversion done (against the wishes of many people) we could have lost the baby.

Instead she was born on Thursday September 27 2007 at 6:25pm weighing 5.4lbs and is 19.2 inches. Her and Jen are doing great and even though she is small and 3 weeks early, she is healthy and will get to come home with me and Jen in a few days.

Here is a pic of me and my daughter, more pics to come soon.

Thank you for your prayers and God bless you.

That is SO awesome, congrats. Give Jen a hug for all of us.. I had 4 of them things and still never got used to the wonder of it all, He truley is great.

Our daughter was born 2 months early and at one poing weighed less than two and a half pounds and she is a fiesty 18 yr old now, she will be fine. Make sure and takes LOTS of pictures of everything she does, you will not regret it when you get close to 50!

Blessings and prayers to all three of you

Congrats,

but....
I have to ask, how is this measured in meters? Was I sleeping during this part of school:?:

Congratulations Jared and Jen!! So happy for the both of you. She is so cute! Good luck cutting those little fingernails and toenails! And also, compared to the other, obviously not as cute, babies in there.... good luck with those screams. She's got some crazy lungs on 'er! ;)

Thank you all so much for your prayers. Jen and Aubrey are both doing great. A quick correction on my original post, it is centemeters not meters, it was really late when I posted it.

I will soon have lots of pictures to post but they really do not do justice for how beautiful she really is. I will need Mike and his camera to come capture her true beauty.

Thank you all so much.

Your brother in Christ
