I mentioned in my belize thread that I took 2 pics of the same scene, using different settings on the camera. First pic was set for cloudy skies, second pic I tried to mess with the colors on the camera to create something new.

Both pictures look good, both capture the same scene. I prefer the second pic over the first. Sure it doesnt look as real, but I think it looks better

you could have Michael make you some post cards and sell them.

I like the water in the reality better though.
Look up HDR. It's what a lot of dig photogs use to create an artsy view of a scene like that. It combines 3 pics and the sky usually comes out looking crazy cool.

HDR looks pretty cool, I wonder if I can use that for that pic?

You have to take three pics in HDR mode in the camera so it will get the three different captures.
