Rock in the wash?

Yes and no.. There is more damage than what is shown in the picture. pretty good gash on the bottom of his door and fender too. He was going to fast, the exit came up quicker then he thought, so he hit the brakes and chose to made a hard left into the trees up the hill instead of going straight into the guardrail by the entrance.. I didn't realize what happened at first, by the time I came around the corner he had backed down the hill but was still in the trees and looked like he'd just seen a ghost. So we got everything fixed up, then went back and he showed me what happened. All I can say, is God was watching out for him. Could've been real real bad.

Yep, pretty much I got caught up in the excitement of winning the race and forgot how soon the exit came up. I managed to skid it uphill, dodging (hah) a tree, ramming (ha ha) a barbed wire fence, and stopping just short of another tree. I honestly do not know how I managed not to do any more damage than I did. Young and dumb, nothing else to it. Not really scared about almost totaling the truck, rolling it, or injuring myself, but more concerned about the fact that for how fast I was going I could have come around a corner and killed someone. The idea of that puts it all into perspective and makes this a valuable lesson.
Some pics.
Those aren't reflections from the water, all scratches and dents.

All that matters, is that you drove home in one piece. :)
