Whats the worst mistake or thing youv'e ever done with your jeep?

Mines a toss up from 3 things. First would be ordering an axle and not realizing gear ratio was different from front to back

Second would be not tightening down the bolts on my front drive shaft and having it fall out while I was in the parking lot at work

And last would be driving around all week before realizing that my half of the bolts holding the body to the frame were still sitting in my garage waiting to be put back in while the other half were only finger tightened

My jeep is one big ooops... and that makes me sad.

I would have to say that buying my Jeep was my biggest ooops. I love it and wouldnt trade it for anything but as long as I have it I will always want to do more to it.

Wow. Old thread.

I'm actually pretty happy with mine. Don't get me wrong, I'd trade one of my boys for a solid axle just to keep me out of trouble, but other than that.

I knew I wouldn't wheel it as hard as you guys since I have more fun hiking along with you, taking the pics, planning stuff out, spotting, etc.

I knew sometimes I'd be out alone and wouldn't mind the room in back to sleep.

I knew sometimes on our longer trips the Jeeps wouldn't fit it all and extra could fit with me.

I knew more ladies would fit in it. Still just a theory.

And I researched the crap out of it before I bought it so within the 2nd month, I had the lift I wanted, the tires, wheels, shocks etc.
Still impresses X people that it already has what most want and I did it myself.

Let me take back my original comment. I WOULDNT TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT MY DAUGHTER. I will be getting another Jeep some day soon.

lol I know, just giving you a hard time :)=)

Mine has to be the Toys by Troy Long Arm I did before I went RK. Watching my heep on video with axle wrap was not cool.
