How do you check your battery before it dies? Ive always just replaced mine when they died but its kind of annoying to have to wait until its completely dead. Is there any sort of test you can do that will let you know when its about to die?

Stop at a Checker auto and they can run a diag test on it and tell you the condition

He knows that, he just won't go to Checker, Autozone, or Pep to do it.

I have a load tester, you can get them at a lot of places like Harbor Freight:

It tests the load handling of the battery for short term and will tell a lot but it does not tell you if the battery is in the later stages of normal wear out, you need the electronic test for that and they do them at CHECKER and AUTOZONE.....can you say it with me AUTOZONE...I knew you could!!!


That is the only real way to know the condition of the cells

Just go to autozone, there is one right by your house.

just wait until it wont start then call Michael to give you a jump. LOL
