Thought Id share some pics from my backpacking trip. We had a great time, the canyon was awesome. It took us about 35 minutes to hike down into the canyon and about an hour and a half to hike out. Once we were down we had a quick lunch and started down the canyon. We found a great campsite and ended up using this as our basecamp and doing a day hike on Saturday.

Both mornings we were woken up the sound of a bear maybe 100 yards from camp. I never did see him and he stayed far away from us. Ill be posting some gear reviews shortly. Until then take a look at the pics

yep snowed on Saturday off and on the entire day. Kinda chilly at night :D

Did you camp close to the water or did you hike down to it during the day?

cant see it from the pics but the creak was about 15 feet from where we camped. Made it nice and easy to get water for cooking and fishing
