more room for tires
#1
So now that the 35's are on I need to make room for them when I flex

Heres what Im thinking about doing

TNT fenders priced at $379

Rev111 fenders priced at an expensive $679

4wheelers / Campbell rockcrawler hood priced at $449

TNT is backordered several months, REV111 is different and expensive and 4wheelers hood leaves out the inner fender so something would need to be fabbed up to protect the engine compartment

So, any thoughts or other ideas? Going with my theme, I like to try new things, so something different isnt all that bad

If I cut the hood Id want it to end up looking something like this

I like that one with the tube fenders but you still need inners

Yep I was thinking about that.. JP just used that plastic pond liner and made some out of it, I might go that route or maybe see if I can find some aluminum sheet metal that we can cut and bolt in there

looks pretty good

How about we get together on Sat the 28th and see what we can do? Bob, I know its a long drive for you but youre more then welcome to come by for the day and help pass Michael the tools

Need to figure out what to do on the inner fender and I know it will take some finessing to get the fender to bend around the grill again, pics Ive seen show people beating on it with a hammer

Saturday after 3 is ok by me.

ok lets plan on that then, Ill get started that afternoon and take off one side fender completely so we can get a head start and figure out what needs to be changed

what are we using to cut with? skill saw? If you need new metal blades let me know and I wil pick some up. Also do we need cardboard to make templates from?

We're essentially just cutting down the existing hood line so it shouldn't be that hard. Skill cut thru J's like butter. Hood's really not that thick. I have some blades but some fresh ones would be a plus. It's a Black and Decker.

need to cut the rears too, would the skill do okay on the curve?
#13
If I can make a curve for flush mounts with it...

I am guessing you wont have to cut all of them, maybe just even one or two of them out.
