hmm I dont recognize those trucks or that building, but there are lots of areas up there we havent explored yet. I know nazi mine is on the backside of desoto up there, that might be the one they are looking at

AZ highways did a write up on the route through Minnehaha and up to Crown King. That is the route he took on his return trip. I recognized the buildings as well as the abandoned equipment from when i ran it a couple years ago. It's a pretty tame trip that starts (or ends) in Kirkland. You can take it through to the Senator highway or intercept the back way to Crown King around the Oro bell mine.
I didn't investigate the mines on that trail at all.
I was actually headed to minehaha a few weeks ago but had to turn back a few miles out with transfercase problems.
That entire area is tops on my list for random trail running.
