Woot! This is going to be fun.
#3
When are you guys leaving (which days will you be there, basically)?
#4
Arriving Sat the 13th till Sat 20th

We have T5 and T6 at Canyonlands in my name. $369.24 per spot for the week.

my 37s should be arriving this week... :D Going to wait and see how my bonus / raise plays out and see if I can swing beadlocks before EJS. Also need to do driveshafts and that's it for the Jeep (I think)

Trailer should hopefully finish up in January and be ready as well.

Matt, what's the "to do" on the dirty jeep?

I haven't found where I can order a magazine for 2019 like I did for 2018... it seems the trail chart is online this year?

https://www.rr4w.com/userfiles/files/2019%20EJS%20Trails%20at%20a%20Glance.pdf

Registration opens on Jan. 22nd, so we should try and have a get together early Jan. to figure out what exactly we want to do.

Oh, Matt... if we do register for any official runs, you'll need to create a profile on the above website.

I might be going this year. I am working on seeing if I can pull it off

That would be awesome!

Registration for the official trails opens Jan 22nd. We were thinking of picking two trails to do as part of the official EJS and then just hooking up with other groups like Full Size Invasion. Or... we can run off an do an open trail on our own. Any trail that EJS official is doing that day is shut down to the public so it takes a little planning. It wasn't a big deal last time.

Depending on how many people are going it may be smart to get another tent site

Two trails that I would like to do are Behind the Rocks and pickle.

Ok. That sounds great. Let me verify I can make it and then we can finalize plans.

Bob, if you look at the link to the 2019 "trail map" it says that only the blue colored trails are shutdown to public while in use... if I'm understanding it correctly, that means the rest are open regardless of being in use or not. If that is the case our options open up a ton.

My list is pretty small on the Jeep. Outside of the Jeep I have a few things to wrap up the next couple months on other vehicles but shouldn't be a problem.

We should do a run. I'm forgetting how to wheel

I agree. I have a couple things to do on the Jeep as does Bob, but a "shake down" run would be awesome. Maybe Table Mesa or Sun Flower in Jan/Feb?
#14
Jeep is in the shop getting the frame fixed. After it gets home I will get the DS off so it can get rebuilt again. That should be the only thing I need to do for it to hit dirt.
#15
My biggest item is finish the trailer so I have some place to sleep and haul tools/parts lol
#16
Something to keep in mind - early January we all need to meet up for a happy hour and discuss what trails we want to run because registration opens on Jan 22nd and they fill up fast.

Not bringing the truck Bob lol

Isn't the bed all that's left of the Dodge? You could bring it
#20
I think he's referring to this truck... lol
