I dunno about the temps. Closest weather station is Superior which average is 73°/46° (last year was 80°/57°)
I'm guessing you could drop Superior's temp by 10° because of the creek.

Camp will be at 2827' elevation, 7.25 as the crow flies ESE from Superior at 3000'

I'd like to go but I don't think I can fit in more than a day trip.

Plus I don't want to break my reputation of avoiding river camping with Michael, for personal reasons.

i might be just doing the day trip portion of this too - its only a 1.5 hour drive from my place to the trail head - so maybe 7 hours for you?

I'm thinking there should be at least a free nad kick feature for all the trip threads that an OP starts and then doesn't himself go on.

Mineral Creek update: Sat 8am through Sunday later. Hard way in, easy way out.
