HigherGround4x4 Moab 2017
#1
The thread for all things Moab 2017. We had 7-ish vehicles out there including a CJ2a, TJ, 2 XJ's, a FSJ, JK, a Raptor and 2 Dodges out on the trails.

Day 1:
We drove in, setup camp, and did the Hell's Revenge gate-keeper a few times

Day 2:
Hell's Revenge with and without brakes
Moab Rim

Day 3:
Onion Creek - Thompson Canyon - Polar Mesa

Option Day 4:
Forest exploring

If you're Instagramming, #higherground4x4 is you go-to tag. It's getting #girthy as we speak.

Post or private joke away.

This is my favorite post ever thanks to the Daniel gif.

We had a great time, heat and trail wrenching included. I've never been outside of the slickrock trails so day 3 was really cool!

I didn't take a lot of pictures but I"ll post what I got soon. Absolutely love this group... regardless of what happens we always figure out how to have a good time and everyone always has an awesome attitude about it. I apologize for the two grandpa jeeps who decided they didn't want to play nice lol We'll whip them into shape eventually.... maybe. Not THAT upset though because exploring the mines was awesome.

Great stuff, Daniel!
All that comradery talk is spot on too. Even when the guys were sidelined with jeep fix frustration, all you has to do was look at the girls making up games, exploring or whatever they were doing to have fun out there. That was pretty uplifting on its own.

Thanks for Bob for throwing 99% of the planning into this, and throwing the most money at it, and securing our awesome campground again and the extra seat for Noel and our seats up.
Thanks for Chris's ice chest and passenger seat and other people's bumpers and sliders for me to hang off of and not leaving me no matter how far I was out. Thanks also for the camp photo.
So many tools and knowledge everyone brought. Thanks for the ponchos Daniel. And Matt for the ride home and God talk. And Lenny for the TP.

Happy to do it. Love you guys and the time we get to spend by the fire is always a good time for me.
Thanks for making the time!
