Meh, kinda? I think I found the root ball. I drilled holes in it and poured in stump out. That was a week ago. Any insight, assistance, or ways to make this damn thing DIE DIE DIE are greatly appreciated.

You know the Geico commercial where the "mom calls at a bad time" and says "you're dad's still fighting the squirrels"? This damn tree is my "squirrels". Grrrr.

If the stump out doesn't work I can come over to help extract the root runners that are sprouting and we can pour muriatic acid in the stump.

I think taking the runners out will help a ton, but make a bit of a mess in the yard. Nothing a load of sand can't fix.

are you gonna plant a joshua tree in there as a replacement? If you do, I promise to touch myself.

That's what it looked like when we moved in (someone had removed the root runners), but they obviously didn't get all of them! I'm ok redoing the yard if we can kill this damn tree.

Chris - if you aren't being helpful, I'm ignoring you from here on out in this thread. ;-)
