Post Apocalyptic Me
#1
If you're not on the Facespace, I'll try to keep this thread updated.

Over the last few months I've been accumulating throwaways, cheap Goodwill finds, and rooting through friend's junkpiles.
I needed a creative project and a challenge. I had an extreme amount of fun channeling my obsessiveness and perfectionism into this project.
I tried to stay within the lines of what it could be like along the lines of a MadMaxish world (interestingly enough, I had started this project in my mind and discussed it with Noel before the movie remake), where objects would need to be scrounged and tech would be long gone. There's a lot of detail most won't even notice but I remember the hours. The final step of perma-dirting it up was fun too.

If you want to guess around at objects you think you see used, go for it. Or if you have a question about something.
Thanks to Geoff, 2ndChance, Steve, and Chris Kredit (and my Grandpa) for some of the junk used.

I finally got to take it for a test run on Black Friday with Noel running camera. It was a blast. I'm enjoying playing with the processing too.
I've got a lot of places I'd like to visit with it.

Pics can be found twice as wide on Flickr

That is awesome. Makes me want to go run Mojave Road with "Mad Max" rigs like we talked about... and try to dress up as cool as that lol

Bleak processing is fun. I need to find some more locations.

I do like the bleak / bleach out processing. Looks good in video too.

Let's plan locations! Hit me up when you are thinking of going.

Thanks. You got it.

Explored last weekend while suited up.

Was a little tough to model and photog at same time. Especially since I forgot my remote and had to use the 10sec timer/run for all these.

Chut up. I had to climb up in to that every shot lol.

This was not one of my favorites but it got Flickr explored so it has around 11,000 views now...
