did the france attack and isis threats make you nervous?

did the recent terror attacks change anything in your daily life? are you avoiding crowded places now or carrying more often?

for megan and me - since about 2009 we have avoided malls and crowded venues like that on busy nights. When we do go to places (movies, food etc) we have exists scoped out and I try and sit with my eyes towards the entrance so I can see who comes in and out. Same when I fly, always grab an aisle seat towards the front of the plane and watch to see who boards.

what about you?

I always avoid crowded places, but that's just because I don't like people in general.

I carry when I can, at work I can't but it's always close by in my truck.

I"m the same when it comes to sitting, when we go out to eat I am always aware of who is around and where the doors are at just in case.. but I've always been that way.

We attend a small church, and there are 6 or so of us that carry and have certain places that we sit in the services we attend.

The only way the terrorist attacks have changed me, is sometimes the thought does cross my mind... but my actions are no different than before. I mean, lets be real.. if some dude runs into a restaurant and blows himself up, my glock isn't going to do much good anyways :)

I hate airports, and avoid flying at all costs.. Haven't been on a plane or in an airport in over a decade. Partly because TSA, partly because terrorists, partly because people in general and mostly because it's a huge "gun free zone" and that's just asking for trouble. I don't like being without my gun, or knowing it's close by. It makes me uncomfortable, so to go to a crowded place that checks to make sure you don't have one, and then get on a plane and fly somewhere that your gun can't go is no good.

I've not really made any changes. Honestly, the damn smoking laws have effected my life more than any terrorist activity. Like Daniel said, I'm more aware of just common sense safety things than I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for the next attack. I pay attention in dark parking lots, I keep an eye on shifty characters, I know where my fire exits are located, etc... but none of it is terrorist related.
