need to get out more

Looks like were staying in AZ. Werent 100% sold on CO Springs and just not seeing us go someplace else right now

But we did decide we wanted to do more weekend trips locally to escape the desert and heat. Car camp, or hotel mostly for now since caleb is still small. Once hes a bit older and has some hiking legs we can do short hiking trips and stuff.

Also looking for a new church thats not as huge as ccv where we can connect with more people in the same stage of life as us with kids etc. Its hard to do activities and stuff when you have to work around their sleeping schedules and things like that.

Also considering setting aside money for each summer and getting away for a month straight or so. Doing a cabin rental in another state or something similar. Especially since I can work remote, no reason I cant work from a cooler state when its hot out.

Ah, there's my answer. Cool.
There are plenty of good C̶A̶R̶ truck/Jeep camps. You can do the Sierra Anchas for fall color, wildlife and streams. Plenty of spots to pull off and camp. More hidden away if you put it in 4wd.
Aravaipa can be done as a Jeep camp. Turkey creek right there needs no permit.
And we're doing Galiuro's for fall color in Nov.
Mt Graham is Jeep camp.
The two Pajamagramscrams were in caves 1/4mi from car/truck.

There's plenty out there. You WILL have to drive some time to get there. 2.5-4.5hrs. There are no hotels nearby.
